PILLAR’s Mission Minute

Travis Hague in the field

Travis Hague

Jason Brooks, Safety Director, nominated Travis Hague to be a Mission Minute recipient for exemplifying value number eight: Be a responsible steward.

Travis stepped up and supplied quality insight to support Jason’s desire to conduct monthly safety meetings addressing current field-relevant topics impacting the team.

“PILLAR treats us very well and trusts me to do a good job, I do that to the best of my abilities in hopes it positively impacts my coworkers as well.”

Brian Pearman

Brian Pearman

President Mark Boenke nominated Brian, a 20-year tenured employee, as February’s Mission Minute recipient.

“Brian will step up and step in when he sees the opportunity to make something better.”

Most notably, when he jumped in to take over PILLAR’s fleet program and when he volunteered to drive the truck for the most recent Sandman Run for the Wythe County Public Schools Foundation for Excellence.

These commendable actions expose two of our values:

• Be a supportive pillar in our communities

• Be a responsible steward
